Your choices
Manage your privacy choices.
SnapMark Screenshot processes screenshots and OCR on your Mac. It does not create an account or upload screenshots to SnapMark Screenshot servers. These steps control processing on your device.
Turn off automatic privacy detection
- Open SnapMark Screenshot and choose Settings.
- In General settings, turn off “Automatically detect and mosaic sensitive information.”
This setting controls OCR on still screenshots and frame-by-frame GIF detection. You can continue to capture and annotate images manually when it is off.
Revoke screen recording permission
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording (or Screen Recording, depending on your macOS version), then turn off access for SnapMark Screenshot. Screenshots, scrolling capture, and GIF recording will stop working until you grant permission again.
Manage local copies and data
- Exported files: Find and delete PNG, JPEG, or GIF files at the locations you selected when saving.
- Clipboard: macOS manages copied images. Copy other content to replace the current item, and review any clipboard manager you use.
- Temporary GIFs: The app attempts to remove preview files after saving or cancelling. After an abnormal exit, you or macOS may need to clean them up.
- Preferences: Language, shortcuts, and the privacy detection setting are stored locally and do not include screenshot content.
SnapMark Screenshot has no server-side screenshots, user accounts, or cloud sync, so there is no SnapMark Screenshot content that can be remotely deleted through this webpage.
Apple transactions and accounts
Apple handles the free trial and lifetime unlock. Manage your Apple account, payments, refunds, and transaction history through Apple's account settings or support channels. SnapMark Screenshot does not receive your payment card details.
Privacy questions
If you believe your information has been handled improperly, or have a question about privacy rights in your jurisdiction, contact the developer. Do not email unredacted identity documents, payment card details, passwords, or sensitive screenshots.
Read the SnapMark Screenshot Privacy Policy for more information.
